Heinen & Hopman Heinen & Hopman was founded in 1965 as a family business in Spakenburg in the heart of Holland. Starting out as a subcontractor for mainly central heating installations, the company rapidly grew to become an expert in the field of installing air-conditioning, cooling, ventilation and central heating systems on board ships. The next logical step was to deliver complete solutions in this specialist area. Heinen & Hopman Engineering therefore developed its own product line for marine applications, manufactured at its own workshops. These products are manufactured and sold under several brand names. Heinen & Hopman fans are no longer manufactured under the brand name SALOR, but Heinen & Hopman can still supply replacement parts. The company is NEN- ISO 9001:2008 certified by MKB-Certificatie B.V. and all orders are undertaken according to this standard.
